The Hague Google Cloud Camp is a curriculum focused on authentic and valuable ways to use Google Education Tools in the classroom. It is a selection of workshops with the beginners in mind while providing those ready to ‘level’ up with unique uses and tips for using Google apps in the classroom, organization, for productivity or collaboration.

If you are looking for basic training for apps or are unsure of ‘what else’ you can get out of it, this program is for you. It is not a ‘beginner’ course but rather a way to ‘level’ up.

It's going to be a really great event with Google Certified Trainers Allison Mollica and Sarah Woods flying in to Netherlands just for the event. For those planning to get Google certified, the event is also a fantastic opportunity to prepare for the Google Certified Educator qualifications.

Presenters will be flying in from around the world and across the US. All speakers are both practicing educators AND leading Google EDU Experts. They will be joined by leading local Google educators to learn about using the latest technologies to enhance collaboration in the classroom and beyond!

Google Apps Admin Corner: August 2015

As always, here is a digest of the key updates Admins need to be aware of that Google has released last month for those of you hanging out in the ‘Admin console’. Some of the key changes includes new Chrome policies in Google Apps, ability to white list specific Google Apps domains, and so much more.

New Chrome Policies in Google Apps

Admins can now set domain name auto complete at sign in so users don’t have to type the domain part of their username when accessing their Google account via Chrome as well as an option to allow users to enter an asset identifier upon enrollment.

Additionally, the device details page has a newly added section called 'System Activity and Troubleshooting' which contains some of the existing fields as well as two new policies: Reboot Device and Screen Capture.
